2012-13 Game Logs: Game 9 Golden State @ Minnesota

Tonight is part two in our ongoing series where I use trade machine to try and trade Derek Williams to the team the Wolves are playing that night. My goal is for Derek Williams to become aware of this and use it as motivation. That or David Kahn becomes aware of these posts and tries to make these trades.

After Derek Williams molasses like performance, without any of the sweetness, his trade value is down again. Time to peruse the Warriors line up and see what could help the Wolves.

So this trade is going to be a little bit harder to pull off. The cap numbers between the two teams don't match up favorably without either the Wolves giving up more than one player or the Warriors trading someone that would never, ever trade. Ideally we could do a one for one Jonny Flynn for Steph Curry but I don't think the Wolves have the rights to trade someone who is currently playing for the Melbourne Tigers.

There is is. A whopping seven player deal. The idea here is to get as many players onto the roster as possible since most of the team is hurt. The Wolves get a net gain of three players in this trade. Four if you take into consideration that JJ is currently hurt. This is exactly the kind of trade the Wolves need to make to ensure that Conroy, Lee, and the Steamer are not playing 40 minutes a night.

Oh by the way, if anyone was wondering, the Wolves gave Josh Howard $2.15 million pro-rated of the rest of the season. Yep.

The Wolves are 1 point dogs tonight and the o/u is 185.5. I will take some of the under.

Remodeled basement. Same half-baked taste.
