March 13, 2012: Greed
Someone from this site is guaranteed to win Spookymilk Survivor next week. That makes five straight wins over there for WGOM Citizens. One hadn't started posting here yet when the season started, but I think he counts.
Cesária Évora – Sodade
First read about this Cape Verde gal in an Economist obit, and it wasn't long before I had a couple of her songs in my playlist. Famous for singing in her bare feet.

Wolves @ Phoenix 9pm
The Wolves have a record of 21-21. They also have a record of 9-9 on the road. The Suns have 19 wins on the year and 12 at home. This will be a tough test for the Pups. Darko is inactive tonight for some reason.

Tokyo Police Club – Your English is Good
This week a little spin around the Big O, starting with the North Coast.
I first ran into Tokyo Police Club, a NewMarket, Ontario band, on the CBC Radio 3 podcasts several years back.
NBBW and I saw them in concert last year as the opening band for The New Pornographers at Ram's Head in Baltimore.
Also check out Tesselate, Wait Up, Juno, Nature of the Experiment, and Favorite Color.
