The Twins' AAA team, the Rochester Red Wings, plays in the International League. Here's a look at the teams in that league. "Notables" is not intended as a scouting report, but rather is a listing of names you might recognize. Rosters used are those found on milb.com this morning.

They Made The Team!
Here's a list of ex-Twins on active rosters at the start of the season. Rosters are as listed on each team's website as of this morning. If I missed someone, please feel free to let me know.
April 6, 2015: Here We Go
I know the team's still hard to follow, but for one day, we're all tied for first.
Happy Birthday–April 6
Smokey Joe Williams (1885)
Mickey Cochrane (1903)
Ernie Lombardi (1908)
Phil Regan (1937)
Marty Pattin (1943)
Bert Blyleven (1951)
Kenny Williams (1964)
Bret Boone (1969)
Lou Merloni (1971)
A star in the Negro Leagues, some say that Smokey Joe Williams was a better pitcher than Satchel Paige.
I haven't checked, but my guess is that four Hall-of-Famers born on the same day is the record.
Mott The Hoople – Roll Away The Stone
Merry Easter, everyone.

April 5, 2015: Badgers? BADGERS?!
So, that happened. Oh, and Happy Easter. Oh, and happy arrival to my father and brother, the latter of whom is visiting Arizona for the first time.
Happy Birthday–April 5
Bill Dinneen (1876)
Wid Conroy (1877)
Bill Lachemann (1934)
Ron Hansen (1938)
Rennie Stennett (1951)
Andy McPhail (1953)
Cris Carpenter (1965)
Ross Gload (1976)
Jorge De La Rosa (1981)
The brother of Rene and Marcel Lachemann, Bill Lachemann is a long-time minor league manager, coach, and scout.
Andy McPhail, of course, was the general manager of the Twins from 1985 through 1994, a period which included both of the Twins' World Series titles. Most recently, he was the President of Baseball Operations for the Baltimore Orioles. He does not appear to be working in baseball at the present time.
We would also like to wish a happy birthday to Mrs. brianS.
There are no players with connections to the Minnesota Twins who were born on this day.
The staff of Happy Birthday would like to wish everyone a happy and blessed Easter.
April 4, 2015: Passed Over Again
I guess I'm not that surprised, given that I wasn't the first born.
Ramona Falls – Clover
Yup, pretty cool.
