  1. Didn't expect this to start so early. If the Dodgers lose this one, that's pretty much all she wrote for them. Can't see them winning twice in Chicago.

  2. Lynx lead by 6 at the half in deciding Game 5. The last 3 games, the team that led at the half, won the game. The Lynx led by 2 in Game 1 at the half and lost on a buzzer-beater.

    1. Lynx were playing at home and outrebounded the sparks 32-24 and somehow attempted 8 less FTs than the Sparks. (24-16). Lynx had made 13 of 14 FTs before Brunson missed one with 15 seconds left that meant they only had a 1 point lead instead of 2. Lynx lost 3 games in the series and 2 of them were on shots in the final 4 seconds of the game.

    2. Watched the whole game. They could never quite break it open and their offense really seemed to lack flow about 3 out of every 5 possessions. Even so, they hustled back into it at the end, only to to whither on defense because they couldn't afford to foul. Oh, and the uncalled/unreviewed LA shot clock violation in the last minute didn't help matters, though I'll admit the calls (or non-calls) seemed to go against the Sparks pretty frequently.

Disappointed for them, but the League's two best teams (all year) facing off in one of the best-contested finals I've seen? I'll take that every day and twice on Sunday.

  3. I wish i had a way to watch either of these. We only have over the air TV and no internet.

I really am disappointed ABC didn't air the Lynx at least locally.

    1. Yeah, the WNBA needed to find a way to provide free access to the finals. They really need to promote their product and this would have been the best way to do it.
