Hughes vs. Hendriks. Kaufmann Stadium. The Tigers aren't in first. What's not to like?
Well, the local nine are 58-73. That's not to like. The Royals are the opposite, and I have to say I like the team and have nothing against the fanbase, so if my team loses here, I suppose I can live with it. ESPN just did a thing on the state of the world the last time the Royals made the playoffs - Back to the Future being released in theaters, for instance - so I guess they're our Pirates this season.
I'm glad I'll see my sister in less than a week, so we can make up for the awkward talk we had yesterday, which seemed like it was between strangers. We're not great at keeping up.
The storm winds were so powerful last night we stayed in the car for a bit after going out to eat. We're getting pounded by wild storms 2-3 times a week lately.
I saw Django Unchained and a few TV shows in this very busy month that was mostly spent on the release of my game. I continue to ignore superhero movies in theaters and lament my lack of movement on the classics.
