They upgraded Office at work and it brought back a function that was needlessly removed from the last version: the ability to delete emails from the notification. For whatever reason, that wasn't an option with the last version. Quickly and conveniently die, unnecessary emails, die!

The wife has a moderately older car that she's in no rush to get rid of. I stumbled across a way to update the firmware in her in-dash console and add a bunch of cool features. The main problem was I had to crack open her dashboard to do it. As of right now, everything is reassembled and I didn't kill the car's computer. Score!

I was wondering if we were going to get snow at all this winter (something I didn't say aloud just in case), and it's decided to show up this week. I'm glad I worked from home today* so I could shovel 4 times so far because a shovel full of this stuff is roughly 300 pounds.

I was listening to a live recording of a podcast in my car and I noticed there was a weird feedback whine in the background. I thought, huh, you'd think the production team would've taken care of that. Eventually I wondered if it was closer to home, so I turned down the volume and realized it seemed to be coming from the air vents on the passenger side. Annoyed, my mind started considering possible fixes and/or estimated mechanic fees. However, shortly after, a potential solution presented itself: I gave that side of the dash a good whack. So far, so good. EEEEEeeeeee!
