Welcome back David Festa. Hope you learned a few things in your brief time across the river. Phillies counter with their other ace, Nola. No big deal. Also the Royals have caught up and are effectively tied with the Twins with one more win and loss to their record.

Last night the Twins had a nice victory against maybe the best team in the league this year and hoping to keep it going today. Especially important because it appears that the Guardians have started to play like we all thought they would and first place is withing striking distance. Should be an exiting last two months of the season in the AL Central.
Zach Wheeler up for the Phillies and another great arm that the Twins will have to deal with. Simeon Woods Richardson for the Twins and he continues to make the case for being a permanent member of the Twins starting staff.
First pitch at 6:40 and weather should hold out, although conditions ripe for a pop up storm.
