INDIANPOLIS INDIANS 8, ST. PAUL SAINTS 7 IN ST. PAUL

Indianapolis took a 7-0 lead in the second, but St. Paul tied it 7-7 after four.  Ji Hwan Bae singled home the deciding run in the sixth inning.

Multi-hit games:  DaShawn Keirsey, Jr. was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs.  Jair Camargo was 2-for-3 with a walk.  Carson McCusker was 2-for-4.

Home runs:  Jeferson Morales (1).

ST. PAUL SAINTS 4, INDIANAPOLIS INDIANS 2 IN ST. PAUL

Indianapolis took a 2-0 lead in the top of the fifth, but St. Paul scored single runs in innings five through eight.  The go-ahead run scored on an error.

Multi-hit games:  Payton Eeles was 2-for-4 with a home run, a walk, and two runs.  Austin Martin was 2-for-4 with a walk.  DaShawn Keirsey, Jr. was 2-for-5.

Home runs:  Eeles (7).

Multi-RBI games:  None.

Stolen bases:  Helman (12).

Pitching prowess:  Caleb Boushley pitched five innings, giving up two runs on six hits and four walks and striking out three.  Jeff Brigham pitched a scoreless inning, giving up a hit and a walk and striking out one.  Kody Funderburk struck out two in two shutout innings, giving up one hit.  Steven Okert struck out three in a scoreless inning, giving up two hits and a walk.

St. Paul scored in the first, but Columbus got two in the third, three in the fourth, and six in the fifth.

IOWA CUBS 8, ST. PAUL SAINTS 4 IN ST. PAUL

St. Paul led 4-0 after three, but Iowa rallied for six in the fourth.  The inning was capped by a grand slam by Owen Caissie.

Multi-hit games:  Chris Williams was 2-for-3 with a home run and a walk.  Anthony Prato was 2-for-4.

Frisco scored on an RBI ground out in the sixth to break a 1-1 tie.

Wisconsin led 3-0 after three.  Cedar Rapids scored two in the eighth, but did not get the tying run on base.

Lakeland scored two in the fourth to take a 3-2 lead.  Surprisingly, they played a full nine innings, but it didn't matter, as neither team scored after the seventh.

Pitching prowess:  Anthony Narvaez struck out two in a scoreless inning.  Tomas Cleto pitched a scoreless inning, striking out one.

LAKELAND FLYING TIGERS 6, FORT MYERS MIGHTY MUSSELS 0 IN LAKELAND (SCHEDULED GAME--7 INNINGS)

Lakeland scored four in the second and was never threatened.

Pitching prowess:  Ben Ethridge retired all four men he faced.  Christian Becerra struck out three in two shutout innings, giving up two hits.

Record:  Fort Myers is 33-25, in second place, 2.5 games ahead of Lakeland.  They have been eliminated from the playoffs.
