July 19, 2014: In My Hands
I received my copy of my game in the mail yesterday. It was a bit overwhelming, though tempered by the sight of a mistake on the rule sheet that I have to correct before it goes out to everyone else.
2014 Game 95: Tampa Bay Rays at Minnesota Twins
Alex Cobb

Kyle Gibson
Baseball returns from its too long break. The Rays, possibly soon to no longer have David Price, send their entire team to the All-Star Game. They're a little late, so the Twins will have to suffice for the opponent.

So, you guys aren't huge into squeaky voiced dudes singing about stepping on trumpets? That's cool.
We're going to cheat a little today. This is definitely a live video, but it's essentially a DJ set. Plus, the video has a very prepared vibe, but that fits with the song, so it works. This was one of my favorites from last year. I like the cold, blue lighting of this video, and the haze that wafts over the whole thing.
Shout out to Brooks' dark techno playlist on Spotify, which I've been going through over the past couple days, and will continue to plumb the depths of in the near future.
Minor Details: Games of July 17
Another good day for Byron Buxton. Wildness strikes Yohan Pino. A walkoff throwout for Cedar Rapids.
