January 8, 2011: Surprise, Surprise

The show's postponed (many reasons were given, but...well, I've heard the language they're using before). I think I'm a couple weeks from not being able to get a hold of the producers easily anymore, and a month from the email that lets us all officially know it's dead. I hate this game.

Granted, the "door is still open" for starting in March. I just don't think that'll happen.

DOMINICAN LEAGUE

Escogido 12, Cibao 10 in Escogido.  Alexi Casilla was 3-for-4 with two doubles and two walks, scoring twice for Cibao.  Wilkin Ramirez was 2-for-3 with a double and a walk, driving in one for Cibao.

AUSTRALIAN LEAGUE

Canberra 4, Sydney 2 in Canberra.  Jacob Younis was 1-for-4 with a double for Sydney.

Brisbane 11, Perth 8 in Perth.  Rory Rhodes was 0-for-3 with two walks, a run, and an RBI for Brisbane.  Luke Hughes was 2-for-5 with a double and a run for Perth.
