So we're in that "with a whimper" territory for the 2022 season. Ah well. We're gonna need to sweep the Sox to have a better record than them. If we can do that, I'll have a larger measure of peace for this season.

Twins Log 154 – White Sox and Twins
Finally, we've circled this week since the schedule came out over the winter. Six of the last nine games against the White Sox to determine who would be the AL Central Division champs. These two teams have been eying each other all year long and finally it's put up or shut up time with the winner off to the playoffs. There is nothing more thrilling that play-off like baseball in September.
Bailey Ober for the Twins and old friend Lance Lynn for the Whities.
First pitch at 6:40 but buckle in, these next games are going to be epic.
Game 131 White Sox at Twins
I too have been placed on the IL.
Game 94. White Sox at Twins.
Heading into the All Star Break on a bit of a skid, but will still by the AL Central leader.

Game 91 White Sox at Twins in progress
4 game series already underway!
2022 Game Log 84 – Twins at Whities
Twins back at it at the Rate against the stumbling White Sox. It would be nice to keep the boot on Chicago's neck so that they go away quietly this summer, but not so bad that TLR get's fired. It's a fine line to hew.
Chris Archer back up for the Twins and while he rarely if ever gets past the 6th inning, he's been a decent back of the order guy. I just wish the Twins had more front of the order guys in their pitching stable. Kopech on deck for the White Sox and although his win/loss record doesn't reflect it, he's been decent this year with nearly a strikeout an inning and a 1.03 WHIP.
Apparently Josh Winder will be starting. Chris Archer has been scratched. I may add more here if I find out the reason./
First Pitch at 7:10, but it looks like nasty weather heading toward Chicago. This game may be delayed or postponed.

Games 83. Twins at the White Sox (in progress)
Lets goooooo!
Game 16: Minnesota vs. Chicago (AL)
Chris Archer on the mound as the Twins go for 4 straight wins and a .500 record. It's pretty easy to feel invincible with Byron Buxton at the top of the lineup, so I say they do it.
White Sox are trying to avoid losing 7 straight and may or may not have Lucas Giolito pitching (I can't find an official announcement of the starter as I'm writing this).
Game 15: white Sox @ twins
Hits are hard to come by these days.
How bad are offenses across the league? Gary Sanchez, Gio Urshela and Trevor Larnach have been league average hitters so far, and two of them have OBPs that start with a 2.
Twins Log Game 114 – Paler Hosers at Twins
Oof, another drubbing by the White Sox. If I had some time I'd love to see what the run differential has been between these two teams this year. Thankfully not a lot of games left against the Sox.
Griffin Jax on the mound for the Twins and he's been a nice little addition in mid to late summer. Not sure what his long term prospects are but at least he's not in the J.A. Happ territory. Dallas Keuchel on the mound for Chicago and he's been a decent of the back of the rotation guy: gives the team a chance to win and eats up some innings. Twins could use someone like that.
First pitch at 7:10
