Sorry, Sufjan is still my 100% Xmas go-to.
So I'm not a big fan of Christmas songs and I have noticed this year that I have pretty much avoided them. Not sure if I'm lucky or I've arranged my life to avoid them. I saw a tweet about Paul McCartney's Wonderful Christmas time that made me laugh. I can't find it now but I think I pretty much recreated it:
Wonderful Christmas Time sounds like a when you're involved in a pagan ritual and then the relatives walk in the room:
The Mood Is Right
The Spirits Up
We're Here Tonight
And, That's Enough
A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS TIME!
Drop 'em if you got 'em.
My computer is broken which means I can't load all my xmas music back onto my phone. As such, it's been a sadly Sufjan-less holiday season for me. 🙁
Look what you made me do, hj.
Hope your holidays go better than this, gang!
We did the Holiday mix. It is awesome. A few new songs I didn't know and other ones that weren't in my regular rotation. Anyway, the awesomeness and previousness of that list doesn't mean this Friday we go silent on discussing holiday music. So. That's the thing.
Here you go.
This one goes out to a special someone whose Christmas wish we are happy to make come true. (I haven't actually managed to watch more than five seconds of this, so hopefully it doesn't fritz out at the end or anything.)
