Why not? Fun song, good choreography, live singing. what's not to love? I have to believe this will pull an easy 9.5 average here.

Smashing Pumpkins are really a one album band for me -- but what an album. Easily top 5 for me. There's nothing even approaching weak song on it, and when it's REALLY firing on all cylinders...
Best album opener ever? It's in the mix for me.

I'm not always in the mood for Coachwhips, but when I want twenty minutes of maximum volume, redline, speaker blowing scuzz, they might just be the greatest band ever.
Looks like they put on an....intimate live show, too.
Welcome to nibbish week!
The title track to one of my favorite albums of last year. I'm not always big into jazz, but the dub undertones on Source were irresistible.
It can be...difficult to find proper ToD live clips, since their lead singer can be a bit grating. This one is pretty good, though (different lead singer!), and the new album is really solid all the way through.
I thought these guys were on their last legs a few years ago, but they keep going strong.
And now for something...very different.
Very recent, too!
Newbish has decided that Star Wars music is the best music (he's also a big fan of Klendathu Drop and Basil Poledouris' music, but the live renditions of that on YouTube left something to be desired). After a few months of this, John Williams is my most played artist on Spotify -- ever.
I don't mind listening to cinematic orchestra music, though -- it beats Imagine Dragons. I've always enjoyed my fair share of soundtrack music, and having him get into it is fun.
As a bonus, the conductor here is VERY entertaining to watch.
Kinda forgot i had Sunday, too. Ah, well. Hatchie is good.
Thanks for listening!
I've taken my stance on this guy. I'm pro.
That voice.
Long ago, there was a song I enjoyed (and yes, this story would be greatly improved if I could remember the identity of the song) where I heard the lyrics to one key segment in a very specific way. M
later, I heard a live version of the song, where the singer enunciated the lyrics much more clearly, and I could hear what he was actually singing. Whereas the lyrics that I THOUGHT he'd been singing had been clever, the actual ones were juvenile and dull. It ruined the song for me completely.
So, tell me about instances where your head Canon outshines the real thing.
Or just drop your 10. It's still a thing!
