I’m at work; Skim is at the game. Life ain’t fair.

Miguel Sano goes deep for the Red Wings. Trevor May pitches well in three of his four innings. A very good game for Sean Poppen. Jean Carlos Arias is heating up for the Kernels.
May 23, 2018: Much-Needed Win
Last night I cracked open the first of my latest batch, a chocolate peanut butter porter. It's comfortably the best beer I've ever made, and on the heels of two sizable failures. On the heels of these setbacks, this beer tastes even better.

Bombino – Tenere
Bombino, perhaps the Hendrix of the new century, recording in a van down meat's way.
Game 44: Old Gardys versus New Gardys
Game two in the showdown series between the Twins and Tigers as both teams battle for second place in the AL Central. Twins took game 1 and look to solidify their second place standing. Lance Lynn on the mound for the Twins and the less said about him the better. Matthew Boyd on for the Tigers and he's been decent with a 1.06 WHIP, winning record, etc.
Twins only have a 7 man bullpen so let's hope the batters can give Lynn a nice cushion so that he can turn it over to the bullpen by the 5th inning and win this game in memory of Phil Hughes.
Game time 7:10p at Target Field.

Dietrich Enns continues to struggle. I don't know what the Twins think they need to see from Nick Gordon. Walks and error sink the Lookouts and the Miracle. Edwar Colina pitches well for the Kernels.

Daniel Lanois – Senegal
Never mind the plumber crack, I want to swim inside Lanois' PA while he's playing this. I can't believe it, but I think this is his WGOM debut.
May 22, 2018: The Norm
I was busy last week, but yesterday went the last four hours without talking to a customer.
