Whoops. I had intended to do this at the end of the work day, but forgot and then I had to o
Mow, so that's why it's late.
Anyway, Phil Hughes takes on one of the most atrocious offenses in baseball history, which is good because Jesse Hahn takes on the Twin's post-16-run offense, which, without looking it up, guarantees them getting shut out.
Since the last time I brought up my yard was pretty interesting, I thought I'd mention the crabapple tree. This year it was taken over by some vine. Any idea what it might bed and should I do so etching about it?

Some guy pitching for the White Sox, and how about that? -- some guy also pitching for the Twins!

Because last time this worked out so well, both teams are doing it again.
After this game, there will be one-third of the season left. The Twins have done a lot of losing in the first two-thirds, so now they're in the 54-game stretch where they win everything, right?

The non waiver trade deadline has now passed and what do the Twins have? One less outfielder because Sam Fuld was traded to the A's. One more pitcher because the A's traded Tommy Milone in return. The Twins got a catcher for the short term because the team and Kurt Suzuki agreed on a contract extension, and the fans get to be a little excited because the Twins called up slugger Kennys Vargas.
Most everything has been discussed in the CoC, but feel free to add anything else here.
Oh, and the Twins can win a series with a victory tonight. Go team go.
Two-thirds of the way through the regular season. Who's got anything left to give this team?
Phil Hughes vs. Danny Duffy. That's probably a best-case scenario.
Its been a few weeks since I remembered to put up a Tuesday game log, so here's to remembering!
Gibson (8-8, 4.19 ERA) vs. Shields (9-5, 3.58 ERA)
Will we get good Gibson or bad Gibson tonight? No idea, but I haven't really paid much attention lately with all the travel and such going on in my life. I'm going to guess it'll be bad Gibson so that this start will either meet my expectations or exceed. Gotta stay positive.
Visitor brooms? I hope not.

A win would be great. Crooked numbers would be good. A run would be nice. I'm hoping for the first, but expecting the second or third.
Here's your game log. I don't really know who's pitching.
Come and bask in the warm glow of your baseball team of choice.
