I guess I'm getting to the age where my friends start talking a little more about their embarrassing-sounding health problems online. It seems like everyone's going through stuff I can do without.
my friend's band came into town over the weekend (and i'd play them if they had a decent-ish video available). traveling with them was black diet (formerly JT and the sloppy seconds), who put on an amazing set. they're playing all over the cities, and i HIGHLY recommend checking out a show if you get a chance.
I've just returned from a quick trip to Austin where these guys were playing last night. I wasn't in attendance, but I'm told it was a good show.

I picked up the Milkmaid from the airport last night; she was in Connecticut for four days at a cousin's wedding. I worked so much that I almost didn't have time to miss her, but it was starting to feel lonely at the end there.
