Game 3. Wolves @ NY Knicks 6:30pm
After a beat-em-down game against Oklahoma City, the Wolves hit the road for the first time and play the Knicks at the newly renovated Madison Square Garden. Corey Brewer pestered Kevin Durant all night Friday and now his assignment is to pester Carmelo Anthony. Should be fun!
The Wolves with be without Ronnie Turiaf, he has a broken elbow. I suspect rookie Gorgui Dieng will be seeing more minutes.
Venezuelan View: Games of 11/2
Lester Oliveros did as much as he could. A good game for Edgar Ibarra. The rest of the winter league reports will come either late this afternoon or tomorrow.
Fall Festival: The Fall Stars Game
They're actually calling it that now. Veteran readers will remember that I started calling it that years ago. I always was a trend-setter.

There do not appear to be any players with connections to the Twins born on this day. It should be noted that Homer Summa is a great name for a ballplayer.
November 3, 2013: Happy(?) Anniversary
My dad reaches 24 years of marriage with his second wife today. I've never been clear on how great the marriage is, but they seem to get along fine, and my stepsister rules. So, cheers, Dad!
Tee Set – Ma Belle Amie
As a kid, I thought this song was about NBA All Star Walt Bellamy. I was pretty disappointed to find out it wasn't.

Today, however, it's definitely about him. Rest in peace, Walt Bellamy.
