June 22, 2024: Missed Connections

I had the green and was taking a right at a corner which had a gas station, and on the other side of that corner from the gas station, someone decided to peel across the street to take a right on the other side just as I was turning. I thankfully saw them about to do the stupid thing before they did it, so I was able to slow down and gave them a bit of horn for being a jagoff. Instead of being meek and apologizing for me slowing down and not t-boning and killing them, the young lady thought obscenities directly at me was the way to go. Buncha savages in this town.

Han Urbanus is in the Dutch Baseball Hall of Fame.  He pitched over 150 consecutive complete games over a period of eight years.

The brother of Marv Throneberry, outfielder Faye Throneberry spent much of his career with the Twins franchise while it was still in Washington (1957-1960).  In December of 1960, he was chosen by the Los Angeles Angels in the expansion draft.
