I had an idea for the CoC while I was at work, but it's gone. It was probably current-event or Twins-related. So, go ahead and comment on whatever it was that I planned to say.

Ted “Double Duty” Radcliffe played in the Negro Leagues for many years. He got his nickname because he would sometimes catch one game of a doubleheader and pitch the other. He played professionally until 1954, when he retired at age 52. He is the oldest player to ever appear in a professional baseball game, throwing one pitch for the Schaumberg Flyers of the Northern League in 1999 when he was 96.
John Gordon, of course, was a radio broadcaster for the Twins from 1987 through 2011.
Tommy Moore was drafted by Minnesota in the twenty-eighth round in 1966, but did not sign.
Cory Provus has been a radio broadcaster for the Twins since 2012.

I saw a dude cover this song last night at a locals bar in the 7th ward. It was pretty great, but no one can really hold a candle to the man himself.
July 6, 2013: Transactions
Dwight Howard is a Rocket. Well, that sure didn't work out, Lakers. Matt Cooke is now with the Wild. That should keep this team from being likable anytime soon.

Mark Buehrle
Twins face Buehrle for the first time since 2011. It seems Buehrle is still Buehrle. A bit older, but equally capable of stymieing the Twins.
Friday Music Day: Inependence Day + 1, 2013.
Furthering on what I wrote last week, I found this Lou Reed Review of Yeezus that hit better on what I wanted to say, but with much more exuberance.
I'm trying to avoid going in to the office for a few hours to complete a report. I'll be ticked if I actually have to go in.
Post your lists.
