The Hold Steady – “Massive Nights”, “Slapped Actress”, “Chips Ahoy!” & “Runner’s High”
Let's kick this week off right. FTLT and I were at this concert back in June, and judging from the video not too far from the person taking this. The weather was terrible all day, but broke about 30 minutes before the Hold Steady went on. The show ended up being awesome, though the whiskey and singing along meant I couldn't talk very well for a few days.

September 16, 2013: Same Old
It's comforting to know that even if I was following the Vikings closely anymore, they'd still be ripping my heart out.
Third Monday Movie Day
Third Monday already?! I was hoping for another big movie month, but my Kickstarter derailed that (and everything else). I saw about four...I'll cover them a bit later. As I type this, it's pretty late and I'm not feeling great. I now have two straight days off with very few commitments...I'll probably see as many as I saw all last month.
Game 148: So…
We gonna have a gamelog or what? Is there even a 2013 Gamelog Category?
Rocket From The Crypt – On A Rope

September 15, 2013: Please, Not That
E. Coli has hit the Phoenix area pretty hard. I woke up somewhat sick today...I hope that's a coincidence.

Game 147: Rays @ Twins
Andrew Albers vs. Matt Moore.
Not to say that any of the remaining Twins games look hopeful on paper, but this one really doesn't. They play against a motivated team, facing an All-Star caliber pitcher who strikes out just shy of a batter an inning.
Our fine starter, meanwhile, walks a batter every other start (seriously, he walks absolutely nobody, it's ridiculous - not quite 2005 Carlos Silva ridiculous, but still). Unfortunately, batters are more likely to strike out against the drunk girls at the bar after the game than they are against Albers.
So, obviously this one's a win, right?
