Now that the Twins have finished up helping the Royals stay ahead of the Tigers, they're hanging around Target Field to see if they can't get the Clevelands into the wild card race. I really haven't been paying a lot of attention, because last place, but at least it sounds like Mauer is back to being Mauer and Gibson has been throwing pretty good as of late.
A pair of walkoff victories. Solid games for Jason Wheeler and Derrick Penilla. We're getting closer to being caught up.

A major league baseball game is scheduled to take place tonight at 7:10 post meridian, central daylight savings time, in downtown Minneapolis, MN. Two teams of 25 players each, the Kansas City Royals and the Minnesota Twins, will contest the game to determine a winner and a loser at Target Field. Each team will designate a starting pitcher, with the Royals selecting Jason Vargas and the Twins electing Trevor May. Play ball!
A no-hitter for Virgil Vasquez. A huge day for Reynaldo Rodriguez. Jose Berrios is having no problem handling AA so far. We continue to get closer to catching up.
