I've been to Canada and back. Their accent seems a lot closer to Minnesotan than, say, Texan does.
Muchmusic was celebrating 30 years and showed its "100 greatest videos" off and on.
I caught bits of that. I was surprised it wasn't all Barenaked Ladies and Kardinal Offishall. Whenever things showed up that seemed unlikely to count among "10,000 greatest videos", the only explanation we could ever figure out was that it was Canadian.
I never did see "Northern Touch".
Here are two new music videos that I liked in part:
Zola Jesus, Peaking Lights.
September 5, 2014: Micro Manager
My brother's bride is a real concrete sequential, and as such, the next couple of days are scheduled to the second. I hope there's time for fun, and honestly, I mean for her more than anyone.

Players of the Week
I know these are late, but having done them all year, I wanted to do the last one, too. We'll have players of the month for August at some point as well.
Minor Details: Games of September 3
D. J. Baxendale pitched seven strong innings and Fort Myers got a touchdown in the third to move to the championship round. Cedar Rapids was blanked and needs to win tonight to stay alive.
