Plus, the Royals are sending some dude out to make his major league debut, so maybe the bats can show some life.

Two years ago, Newbish was born. One day ago, I set up his first tee and watched him take his first swings with a baseball bat (some pop ups, and one solid line drive). It was even Probably Prince day yesterday (newbish loves Prince), so everything seems perfect.
Even more, this doubleheader means something. Depending on how the day goes, we could be one down, or three up. That's a big swing.

Well, wasn't that something? I turned off the game in the 7th, because my wife wanted to watch a movie (The new Bourne movie, or, as I like to call it, Very Serious People Walking Quickly), so.... yeah.
I won't be missing today's game, though, because I'm stuck at work on this beautiful day, and I brought my walkman. So I imagine I'll get to finally hear a little bit about this kerfuffle between Boston and Baltimore that no one seems to want to have an opinion about.
Miguel Sanó is appearing pretty good at baseball, folks. It's still early in the season, but he's at or near the top of a ton of the meaningful offensive Leaderboards, and his defense has thus far passed the eye test.
