Walks and errors give the E-Twins a win. Royce Lewis and Akil Baddoo keep hitting and getting on base. Walks lead to a big inning and a victory for the DSL Twins.

With the win last night, it guarantees the Twins will be at or above .500 at the All Star Break. I would have never guessed that during Spring Training.
Felix Jorge starts tonight. He showed enough in his last start to at least get a second and third try. Kevin Gausman o for the O's. In his last 5 starts against the Twins, he has pitched 24 innings and surrendered 18 runs. I like our chances for a W tonight!
FMD: July 7, 2017 – Ken Griffey’s Grotesquely Swollen Jaw
I'll be heading up to the Twins game tonight. For some reason that put into my head the classic Simpsons' tune "We're Talkin' Softball." Which made me think of other original songs from the Simpsons. Which made me smile a whole lot. ("Can I play the piano any more?" "Of course you can!" "Well I couldn't before.")
I also thought of some of the great original songs from other TV properties (Bob's Burgers comes immediately to mind), and how that overlap of original music and TV can really carry a joke through, often beyond the show. It might really be a comedic thing for the most part?
Anyway, let's talk about the use of original music in TV shows or something like that. And shave our sideburns.

A fine game for Tim Melville. Not enough offense for Chattanooga. Jaylin Davis hits his first high-A homer. The Kernels hit four home runs, but a single wins the game. Ariel Montesino and Shane Carrier lead to a sweep for the E-Twins. Nick Tepesch continues his rehab in the GCL. A big-inning wins it for the DSL Twins.

Ted “Double Duty” Radcliffe played in the Negro Leagues for many years. He got his nickname because he would sometimes catch one game of a doubleheader and pitch the other. He played professionally until 1954, when he retired at age 52. He is the oldest player to ever appear in a professional baseball game, throwing one pitch for the Schaumberg Flyers of the Northern League in 1999 when he was 96.
John Gordon was a radio broadcaster for the Twins from 1987 through 2011.
Tommy Moore was drafted by Minnesota in the twenty-eighth round in 1966, but did not sign.
Cory Provus has been a radio broadcaster for the Twins since 2012.
