Even formatted poorly that looks great.

Now, onto Kirilenko. Let me start by saying that his basketball reference page is currently available for only 47 90 dollars. I'd like to get someone over Canis on that right away. Six, klaw, I think you guys have some pull over there, right? In this morning's CoC I suggested that AK is probably the second best player on this team after love. I know we are all Rubio fans boys but even on Rubio's best days I don't know if he impacted games the way Kirilenko does.

5 game sample size in mind, Kirilenko would have season highs in the following statistics right now:

Field Goal Percentage: .629
3 Point Percentage: .500 (As sustainable as the Knicks)
True shooting: .673
Effective Field Goal: .657
Rebound %: 13%
Assist %: 19.8%
Offensive Rate Per 100 Possessions: 119
Defensive Rate Per 100 Possessions: 95
Win Shares Per 48: .217

All of this is being done with a next to career low usage rate of 15.4%.

Yes, again, I am fully away of sample sizes and the sustainability of some of the statistics listed above. With that said, there is a reason this guy is getting 10 million bucks and so far, he is on pace to be worth every penny of it.

Wolves are +8 or +300 on the money line tonight. Don't everyone run to Vegas all at once.

Minnesota Timberwolves 2012-13 Game Logs: Game 2 Wolves @ Raptors

Brent Barry is on NBA TV right now making fun of Kevin Love for doing knuckle push ups. Immediately thereafter he said that Pek doesn't do push up, he pushes the rest of the world down. Also he mentioned the Pek is so tough he snacks on fingernails.

Not to sound to hard or anything but I have been chewing on my nails since I was like 4.

Game 60: Phillies 7, Twins 11

Padre covered for me - I'll pay it forward.

Big night offensively for both clubs as they combined for 31 hits. Blackburn gets the W and the Twins got 3 homeruns (Willingham, Span, Plouffe!). Revere, Doumit and Plouffe all went 3-5, Carroll 3-4 and Mauer 2-4 with a walk. Dozier was 0-5 but committed no errors.

JI JIM was 2-4 with 2 RBI.

Burton, Perk-n-play, and Capps all pitched clean innings after Dunce gave up 3 runs in the 6th (that mess was cleaned up by Burnett).

The Twins are now 7-3 in their last 10 and 6-1 at home since being swept by Detroit at the end of May.

Wolves @ LA Lakers 9:30pm

Last night's loss hurt. The Wolves are 2 games back for the 8th playoff slot and had a chance to cut it to a game behind Denver because they lost. I listened to bits and pieces of the game on the radio last night and things seems alright. Ridnour had 13 assists and 4 turnovers, but those 4 turnovers seemed to come at really bad times. JJ Barea seemed to have a bad game with 5 turnover. Paul Millsap had 8 steals and they all seemed like at the end of the game and overtime. Blarg.

Hopefully Kevin Love can go tonight, he hurt his thumb late in the game and had X-rays afterward. As of this writing, it seems like he is ok but the whole Twin Cities sports landscape has been snakebitten with injuries, one just never knows...a simple tweak turns out to be a broken everything it seems like.

Luke Ridnour has notched 32 assists to 11 turnovers since replacing Rubio.

Go Wolves

Wolves @ Portland 9pm

The Wolves have been living out of their suitcase since the All Star Break, 4th game in 5 days. After this the Wolves return home for a week then go on a grueling 7 game roadie. I'm not saying this is a must win, but man it would be super sweet (my prediction coming out of the break is that the Wolves would go 2-2).

Portland has a few 'whoa, those guys are playing' on the roster: Kurt Thomas (not playing tonight), Marcus Camby, Gerald Wallace.

Last night's win was simply awesome. Between Derrick Williams being unleashed to Micheal Beasley going en fuego leading to this awesome exchange a the :28 mark between Ricky Rubio and The Beas (also, Ricky Rubio has gotta be leading the lead in .gifs. His passes, his dances, his dusting people off. what a joy).

Last night's win also guaranteed a winning record for the month of February (now 8-6 for the month) and that is now 2 straight winning months (January they went 10-8). Before Jan, the last time they had a winning month was January of 2009 when Kevin McHale took over for the fired Randy Wittman and went 10-5. THREE years without a winning month. ye gods. The last time the Wolves had back to back winning months, you gotta go back to 2005 (!!!) when again Kevin McHale took over for a fired coach in Flip Saunders and had winning records in March (10-5) and April (6-4).

wow. just wow.
