Game 108 Royals at Twins

My heart has not been into this season. Dont get me wrong, I still love baseball more than all the other sports combined, but the Twins mediocre (at best) play, Byron Buxton and Joe Mauer missing chunks of the season due to injury, and a heavy workload for me has resulted in me missing a lot of games and me not really caring that I missed the games. Perhaps in 5 years I will quit all sports and not miss it. Jake "I missed out on being traded to a good team" Odorizzi for the Twins. Some dude named "Heath Fillmyer" throws for KC.

We better not allow another Drew Butera inside the parker this series.

Minor Details: Games of July 31

Home runs by Jon Kemmer and Taylor Motter lead the Red Wings.  The Miracle wins a close one.  A fine game by Edwar Colina for the Kernels.   Gilberto Celestino announces his presence with authority.  The GCL Twins pull one out in the ninth.  Bryant Perez pitches well but is let down by the bullpen.

A deaf mute, Dummy Kihm had 2,245 hits in seventeen minor league seasons.

Pop Kelchner was a scout for fifty years, most of them for the St. Louis Cardinals.

What was War good for?  Absolutely nothing.  In twelve games, War Sanders was 2-8, 5.64, 1.61 WHIP.  He also was 1-for-21 at the plate.

John F. Kieran was a long-time sportswriter in New York and was a panelist on the quiz show "Information, Please".

Fuzzy Hufft had 1,400 hits over seven seasons in the Pacific Coast League and served honorably in both World Wars.

We would also like to wish a happy birthday to UncleWalt’s youngest child.
