Kenta Maeda
vs
Frankie Montas
The Twins last scored a run on Friday of last week. A few games weren't played over that time but more than zero were played. Berríos did his part yesterday. I'm hoping Maeda can do the same today with the assbats sacrificed in a glorious bonfire before the game.

Arraez - 2B

Game 2:
Eduardo Rodriguez
vs
José Berríos
Two seven-inning games. Still not a fan of those post-2020.
Twins have dropped the last three and risk falling below .500 since Game 2. Maeda and Berríos are the two starters you'd want pitching to end that streak. I hope the bullpen takes the day off because really, they aren't helping.
Twins 10 - Mariners 2
The Twins kept the game to nine innings and won again.
I won't always do this but still early in the season and optimism is high. Here's a smash cut of the bombas.
Well that sucked. On the plus side, they are undefeated in nine innings. Unfortunately, two games took extra innings.
Kenta Maeda
vs
Matthew Boyd
Boyd had a scoreless start to open the Tiger's season. It wasn't a particular great start with more walks than strikeouts but with only three hits it was good enough.

Dodgers stuck it to the Rays last night. Kershaw pitched well. I got two out of three kids to watch an inning, so success for us too.
Astros try to hold off elimination, they're bound to win at least one. The Dodgers meanwhile figured out how to score against the Braves but now have to pair that with not letting them score even more.
