...of the first half of the season. Well, we're past that already, but it's the all-star break after this game. I got to announce the Dozier all-star thing to the wedding, so that was fun.

Minor Details: Games of July 10
The Red Wings split a doubleheader for the only Twins win. The Twins got shutout in three of the games, with the Miracle wasting a fine performance by Mat Batts. Oswaldo Arcia hit another home run. And we're caught up!
Minor Details: Games of July 9
We get closer to being caught up. Oswaldo Arcia homers again. Kennys Vargas hits his first minor league homer of the season. Ryan Eades pitches a fine game. Edgar Corcino stays hot. So do LaMonte Wade and Jermaine Palacios. And Gorge Munoz.
Game 88: tigers @ twins
Wow. Don't give up on the Twins, eh? Or if you do, don't give up on them in the 7th inning, when you've already invested just under two hours in the game. I mean, the Orange is the New Black finale was good, but...
Anyway, today, we've got Alfredo Simon taking on Phil Hughes. Simon has crafted an acceptable followup to his AllStar campaign last season, whereas our man Phil seems to be pitching quite a better better as of late (though those strikeout numbers are still down. Get 'em up, Phil!)
Prediction: Twins 7, Tigers 1
Minor Details: Games of July 8
We'll try to get caught up today, but I have a lot of other things to do, too, so we'll see. A big day for Danny Ortiz. David Hurlbut pitched well. Chih-Wei Hu pitched better. Felix Jorge pitched still better. The bullpen failed for the E-Twins. Jermaine Palacios continues to hit. A walkoff for the DSL Twins.

That game was worth attending.
Harry Nilsson – Gotta Get Up
AFter the stunning response to TJJr, why don't we just slip into some Nilsson?

Game 87. Tigers at Twins.
Brian Dozier is not an All Star. Yet. He finished second in the fan voting for the final spot. but as we all know, there will be injuries and pull outs before the game so I am not shedding a tear for him.
Lets get a win tonight!
