It would probably be a fun novelty if the Twins hadn't gotten thrashed.

2013 Game 10: Mets at Winter Wonderland
NWS predicts 35 degrees and dropping temperatures tonight. The Twins might be able to break the coldest game record two weeks into the season. They also predict the precipitation potential as holding at around 50% through the night, so this may be one of the few (only?) games where it actively snows.
Except for the freezing temperatures part compounded by lack of sun, some slight flurries might be preferable to rain. I am sure the players will take solace in that.

Vance "Sacramento doesn't get snow" Worley

Friday Music Day: April 12, 2013
AMR couldn't post the FMD today so I'm filling in. Since he usually kicks things off by talking about new music he's listening to I will take this opportunity to mention that I streamed the new Flaming Lips album The Terror. Didn't do a lot for me -- a lot of space age gobbledygook. Also picked up the new GBV e.p. Down By The Racetrack. It's probably only for completists. On that positive note, hopefully we'll see some rad lists today.

Baseball is a cruel mistress and I just don't know if it’s even worth it anymore. I was so excited to be healthy for the start of the season and to be in the major league rotation. Now I feel like my Career is at a crossroads. I know it's just a forearm strain but what if I never heal? I am doing my rehab and the trainer says I'm doing good. I've heard that Coach Gardenhire wants me back in the rotation because he "likes my stuff." But this is so hard.
