FMD 4/6/18: “I Can Sing A Rainbow”, Or “What Songs With Orange?”

My kids are always singing made up songs. They often involve colors. Today, I issue the challenge that everyone come up with a color list of songs. Just 1 song for each of Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet. No repeating songs someone else has already used. If you blank on one, that's okay, come back to it later, or not at all.

Let's see if this works?

Also, drop your list, or discuss music. It's all good.

2018 Game 6: Seattle Mariners at Minnesota Twins

Home Opener!

Kyle Gibson

vs

James Paxton

Paxton had a very good year in 2017. Let's hope he carries his first start over (4.2 IP, 6H, 6R, 6ER), and not his 2.98 ERA, 143 ERA+, 2.61 FIP from last season.

Gibson gonna Gibson... did you know he had identical 5.07 ERA's in each of the past two seasons? (83 & 87 ERA+, 4.70 & 4.85 FIP's respectively). He was not efficient in his first start. We'll see what happens.

Twins Full Season Minor League Preview

All of the Twins' full-season minor league teams start tonight except for the Rochester Red Wings, which start tomorrow.  No team has the same manager it did last year.  Two of the managers, Tommy Watkins and Ramon Borrego, managed in the Twins' system last year, but they managed different teams.  The Twins appear to have added a coach, going from two to three, at every level except high-A.  I don't know why they didn't add a coach there.
