Game 144 Recap: Again From the Livejournal of Cole DeVries

Mood: 🙁 forlorn
Music: Adele - Someone Like You
I didn't watch the game but I heard we won. I was supposed to be at the stadium but whatever. I went to Mom and Scott's house instead. Mom made meat loaf and tater tots which are my favorite foods but I wasn't even hungry. Kaycie was being a brat all night saying that I was acting like a little p***y but I didn't care. They don't understand. My chest hurts so bad and the doctor said it's because my rib is broken but I know its because I have a broken heart.

I am now at day 3 of my 8 day trip to ND and I'm beginning to settle in here. I didn't sleep very well last night and I might be coming down with a cold. I am going to do some exercise on this trip. I have continued to adhere to my diet, but the scale isn't showing much progress. Then again, I don't trust my parents' scale very much. Oh well, I have to continue to march on. I know this is the heavy scale, but my pound lost per day is right at .50, pretty much the lowest it has been since I started. Then again, I'll take 3.5 pounds a week, if I can maintain that.
Day 52
Weight: 259
Total Weight Loss: 25.5
FMD: 9/14/12
This cold is kicking my butt. I'm going to work because the office is nearly empty and hanging at home would be worse. Share your lists.
September 14, 2012: Greed
I'm starting to wonder if the Yankees will end up as the first-ever winners of the second AL Wild Card, just as they were the first-ever winners of the AL Wild Card. I guess if the playoffs were expanded to guarantee their inclusion, it's been a success...

This might not be my favorite song (I say "might" not, because it's hard to tell, any given day), but it contains, absolutely, bar none, my favorite moment in music history - right around the twelve minute mark (yeah... it's a fourteen minute song. It's worth it, trust me.)

2012 Game 144: Twins v. Royals
Confession:
Last year I watched over 100 Twins games. This year? Maybe 10. I still check the box scores every night. Am I a fair weather fan? Maybe. I guess I don't care. But I'm not going to sink a bunch of time into something that isn't bringing me a heck of a lot of joy.
Go Twins.
WGOM Fitness: The Wall
Sometimes, and this week has been one of those times, you just don't want to do it. You don't feel like the outcome is necessarily worth the input. You feel tired. You feel old. Your feet and legs and back hurt. You feel fatalistic and overwhelmed. You rationalize. You fall off the wagon. You hit the wall.
